David fell in love with filmmaking at a young age. Captivated by classics like "Seven," "Pulp Fiction," "Magnolia," and "Fargo," he became enthralled with the art of cinematic storytelling. Years later, he transformed his passion into a career.

Driven by his love for film, David embarked on a journey of self-education, immersing himself in the intricacies of the moving images. He diligently studied the craft, attended cinematography workshops and masterclasses and launched his freelance cinematography career in 2017.

David's work focuses on crafting short documentaries, music videos, portraits, and social media ads. His visual storytelling, captivating compositions, and manipulation of artificial and natural light create compelling and memorable experiences for the viewer.

After living in Berlin and Munich, David finally found his home in Hamburg. His work has extended internationally, with projects in Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. In his spare moments, David crafts screenplays for short films, one of which is anticipated for release by the end of this summer.
